If you haven’t already gone out to the after Christmas Sales… better get going!  Look for Christmas wrapping paper, and keep your eyes open for gift sets.  Things like glove and hat sets, slipper sets, bath sets… all of these will be on sale right now and they are great gifts for many people on your list.  Don’t buy just because its on sale, but if it is right for someone you buy for and on sale.. Get it! Don’t use a credit card!  But, if you don’t have cash, maybe someone gave you a gift card as a Christmas gift… use that!

            You may have a few gifts already purchased for next Christmas.  So, it’s time for a small notebook to keep track of everything.  A very inexpensive notebook or used binder will work just fine.  Designate a couple pages for each family member in the front of the book, then list all people you normally purchase gifts for on the next few pages, leaving several lines or spaces for each person.  If you also normally give that person a birthday or other gift during the year, make a note of that by their name.
